Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we started the day working in our Cambridge Science book with Miss Helen! We talked about animal families and had to draw the parents and the babies.
Then after lunch we went for our second lesson about dental hygiene! We learned the correct way to brush your teeth using a giant model of a mouth!
Then we got to play a game where we were dentists and we got to visit our own patients to see what a dentist visit is really like!!
The next game was super fun! There was a bag filled with food items! each on of us got to fish a food out of the bag and then we had to decide if it was a friend or foe to our teeth!!
We were so good that we guessed them ALL right!!! Who knew that bananas were not friends to our teeth!!
At the end of the presentation we each received a certificate of participation and a tooth brush kit to take home!! There was even a timer in it to help us brush our teeth for 2 minutes!! It was really fun learning about our teeth and how to care for them!!!
