Good afternoon and welcome back after the nice and long Easter break!! Today in Reception we started our day with Weekend News with Miss Helen. It was fun because there was so much to say!

We had so many days of activities to choose from!!

Then after break we worked on our Cambridge Science with Miss Helen where we talked about nutrition and what food are good to eat and which are not!

Progetto "Siglo"

 Il progetto parte dalla ricerca dei nomi cari che rappresentano gli oggetti a cui i bambini sono affettivamente legati perché escono dalle loro conversazioni o rappresentazioni e per questo sono nomi di cose o persone che i bambini hanno avuto modo di conoscere e sperimentare concretamente in situazioni per lui significative. I nomi cari sono poi diventati le figurine  con le quali abbiamo fatto due varianti di gioco: "indovina cos'è?" e "il gioco del detective".

Progetto "Elettronica"

Make and Play, a group that specializes in robotic laboratories for children, came to teach and help the children to make a robotic Santa Claus that spins a gift.  

Progetto "Socio Affetivo"

Telling fairy tales, listening to music, discussing events and emotions, we then go on to express our feelings through art and color which helps develop our social skills. 

Progetto Musica con musicista Elena Varago

Through stories, songs, musical instruments and rhythm Miss Elena gives the children their first approach to what will be a big part of their lives, MUSIC!  

Progetto "Incontro con l'artista"

The very magical Katie accompanies the class into a well known art gallery and each time magically enters a famous work of art. The children, after listening to her adventures, try to interpret using water colors to reproduce the painting.

Progetto Arte con Prof. Luca Truccolo

Together with the very talented Prof. Luca, the children discover different artistic techniques like:

- hand printing butterflies

- using lines and geometric shapes to create a story

- choosing an animal and then mimicking its movements and then drawing the animal

- printing and pressing using etching, shading and pressing.
