Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we worked with in our Cambridge Science books with Miss Helen!!

The Cambridge Science always gets us thinking about interesting topics. Today we talked about plants and what they need to live and grow!!

Today we also got to meet Miss Paola's turtle Muffin!! 

She is so small but very friendly!!

Then we continued work on our color project with Miss Paola. We got to create a starry night!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we learned the letter S with Miss Paola!! We had to trace the letter and then write it many times!!

Then we came up with all the words we could think of, which were many, and then we picked our favorites to draw!!

After we had to write the words of what we drew!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Nursery we had a special treat!! We started our morning with Prof. Luca the Art teacher!! He explained to us what we would be doing!!

Then we set to work! We had to take scraps of colored paper and glue them onto a giant piece of paper!!

We had to take the colours and put them into a picture with sky, sun and grass!!

It was so much fun!!!!

Then we continued work on our Mother's Day crafts with Miss Paola!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we worked on our Mother's Day craft with Miss Paola!! We had quite a bit of work to do!! First we had to punch our 3 holes!

Then we had to glue long strips of paper into a star shape!

Then we had to fold the strips over!!

Then we had to cover the center with the yellow circle we punched out!! It was a lot but it was fun!!

Good afternoon!! Today we had music with Miss Elena!! It is always a crazy good time with her!! We even got to play with instruments!! There were drums, bells, triangles and wooden sticks!! 

Then we did Socio Affetivo with Miss Helen where she read us a book about Katie and her adventures in geometric paintings. We then had to try an replicate this style using water colors!!

It is always fun going to the Art room and getting to paint!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we got to plant our tomato plants with Miss Lindsay and Miss Paola!!First they explained to us the difference between planting a plant and planting seeds!!

Then we went outside, before the rain, to put the plants into our own individual pots! First we put some soil into the pot!

Then we put a small hole in the dirt and placed our plants in them! We added some more soil to make sure the roots were well covered!!

Then we gave them some water to drink!! We have to make sure they get water everyday so we will have some juicy tomatoes to eat!!

After the break we learned the letter R with Miss Paola!! So many fun words start with R!!
