Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we worked on our Father's Day gift with Miss Helen!

We are making some fun surprises in different shapes.

 We then colored them with pastels and had to write a special message on them!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we practiced the play with Miss Lindsay and Miss Paola.

We are working on our places on stage!

And we have to learn all our lines!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we did quite a lot!! In the morning we had play practise with Miss Helen and Miss Paola!! It is always fun working on the play!! Then after the break we worked with Miss Helen on our Memory Book! We had to draw an animal family of our choice. Then after lunch we learned about Number 4 with Miss Paola!!

We had to copy the Number 4 in our workbook and then had to write it ourselves. Then we had to draw 4 things!

Buon pomeriggio.

Oggi i bambini hanno fatto un meraviglioso laboratorio artistico con il Prof. Luca Truccolo.

I bambini si sono cimentati nel dare colore all'opera "l'autunno" del pittore Arcimboldo, con la tecnica dell'acquarello.

Il busto umano è formato da tanti frutti dell'autunno, che come un puzzle si incastrano dando forma alla figura. Allora ogni frutto ha il suo colore e tutti insieme diventano un'esplosione di creatività!

Bravi ragazzi! E grazie Prof. Luca per l'emozionente esperienza!

Poi insieme a Prof. Stefanie i bambini hanno parlato di San Patrick.

Hanno poi ricostruito la figura di questo personaggio disegnando simmetricamente la parte mancante del disegno.

Buon pomeriggio.

Oggi i bambini insieme a Miss Helen hanno eseguito il pregrefismo della lettera "r" e conosciuto il personaggio "Robber Red".

Hanno poi fatto il laboratorio logico-matematico con Miss Paola eseguendo il pregrafismo del numero "3" e lavorando sul concetto di quantità.

Nel pomeriggio hanno poi svolto l'attività di punteggiatura, iniziando a preparare un lavoretto.

Buon pomeriggio.

Oggi i bambini si sono divertiti a ripassare le canzoni in inglese della nostra recita insieme a Miss Helen.

Hanno poi fatto il laboratorio di italiano con Miss Paola eseguendo il pregrafismo della lettera "C".

Hanno poi rappresentato con il disegno alcune paroline con lettera iniziale "c" che i bambini hanno trovato e poi si sono cimentati nello scriverle su copiatura.

Buon pomeriggio!

Oggi insieme a Miss Paola i bambini di reception hanno giocato alla tombola raffigurante i vestiti.

 Questo gioco stimola l'attenzione e la concentrazione. Quindi tutti con gli occhi puntati sul sacchetto delle carte estratte da Miss Paola e pronti a segnare quelle trovate nelle proprie cartelle!

Complimenti ai vincitori: ci vuole attenzione ma anche un pizzico di fortuna!

I bambini hanno poi fatto un bellissimo laboratorio musicale con Miss Elena.

Hanno ascoltato la fiaba musicale di "Pierino e il lupo" raccontata dalla voce di Roberto Benigni e contemporaneamente osservato la storia illustrata.

Ogni personaggio della fiaba rappresentava un strumento musicale.

Tutti i bambini hanno ascoltato con piacere e interesse.

I bambini hanno poi ascoltato e eseguito dei ritmi con il bongo che Miss Elena ha portato in sezione.

E.....qualcuno si è anche cimentato come musicista! Che divertimento!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we had a special visitor! Prof. Luca!!! It is always fun when comes to our classroom! We had a small discussion with him!

Then we did movements with him to understand how shapes work!!

Then we used some of our class toys such as the sea animals! WE had to try our best to copy them!!

Prof. Luca was always ready to give us a hand!

We tried to make them as detailed as possible.

And we even colored them so they would be the same! We even used our blocks that have different shapes!

With them, we were able to create so many fun things!! It's always a great day when Prof. Luca comes!!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Reception we worked on a special project with Miss Paola!! In only two days it will be Valentine's Day so we had a special discussion on what love is! Then Miss Paola drew a big red heart and we had to punch it out with the Puntoruola.

Then we took some red tissue paper and rolled it into little balls.

It was hard work but we got it done!!

Then Miss Paola wrote down everything we said!! We had so many good ideas!!

Then we took all of our paper balls and glued them around the heart!! We even made a small heart out of the extra balls!! 

As you can see, our work came out better than we could have imagined!!  You will be able to see it displayed in the class room!!
