Good afternoon!! Today was a very special day in Reception!! Miss Paola and Miss Lindsay have decided to incorporate two projects we have to work on. One is with the Sabbiarelli and the other is a flower project for Spring. They decided that we would decorate flowers using the colored sand!!
Miss Paola started by explaining what we would be doing and how flowers are important in Spring! Then Miss Lindsay showed us the materials we would be using!
The sand is very colorful and almost glittery.
First we had to punch out the flowers!
Then the teachers would put the glue on and we had to add the sand. We started by putting yellow sand in the center!
It really looks like pollen!!!
Then we could choose what color we anted to do the rest of the flower. There were so many to choose from: Red, Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Pink and Orange!! It was so much fun!! Now we just have to put together the poster!!
