Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we worked on our Pre-grafismo with Miss Paola on following the dotted line of certain shapes.

Then we had to try and copy the image on our own and then color both! It was really HARD!!

Then we worked on the patterns and spatiality of geometric shapes! 

We had to trace the the squares, then draw them with the right distance between each one. After that we had to color them following a specific pattern! We are getting closer to writing!!

Good afternoon and Happy New Year!! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday break! Today in Reception we started the day with Miss Helen and we shared with her how we passed our breaks!

Then we drew a picture for this extended Weekend News.

There were many exciting things to share, from where we went and what we did to what we got from Santa Claus and the Befana!!

Then, in the afternoon, we worked with Miss Paola on the Italian alphabet and how the letters are different from the English ones we learn in Letter Land!

Then we continued work on our pre-grafismo so we will be ready to start the letters next week!

We then had to color the diamond shapes following a pattern!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we learned about number 8 with Miss Helen!!

First we read a story about an 8 legged spider and then we had to work in our notebook!! We had to trace the number 8 and then write it ourselves. On the next page we had to color the objects that were in groups of 8 only!!

After that we went to the art room to work with the watercolors! We painted a Christmas scene!

We had trees, stars and houses!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we started the day off by reading a story with Miss Paola!! She read the Nutcracker to us!! Just in time for Christmas!!

Then we had to draw a picture about the story!!

There were so many things we could draw!! The Rat King, the Sugar Plum Fairy or even the Nutcracker himself!!!

Then we played a game based on the Progetto Sigla, which is basically sight words!! One of us had to pick a card and answer questions from our classmates!

With our answers they had to guess what the object was!! Whoever guessed correctly would win the next turn!!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Reception we started the day doing Weekend News with Miss Helen!!

This is always on of our favourite activities!!! We love to share what we did over the weekend and even more to draw it!!

Then after lunch we worked on Pre-grafismo with Miss Paola!! We had to trace the figures using alternating colors!

Then we had to draw the same shapes below and color each one an alternating color!!

It was not easy!!!!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Reception we worked on Logic and Maths with Miss Paola!

We had to draw geometric shapes in a determined pattern!

Then we had to continue the pattern on the following lines! This was very hard because we couldn't just copy from the one above! We had to follow the pattern!!!

Then we had to color the shapes using the pattern!! One color for the triangles and one for the squares!

Good afternoon!!! Yesterday afternoon in Reception, we worked with Miss Paola on our pre-grafismo and had to trace the dotted the lines and to copy the shape by counting the squares!! It was not that easy!!

Then today we practised for our Christmas concert with Miss Elena and Miss Helen!!

Everyone said that we are almost ready for next week and that we sounds really good!!
