Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we continued work on out Winter paintings with Miss Paola!

We had to attach the orange nose to our snowman and then paint his buttons, eyes,arms and mouth in black.

It was fun to paint with the paint brush!

Then we had to do some Maths with Miss Paola and color in rulers.

Then cut them out!

And then paste them in order of length! It was a busy day!

Good afternoon!! Today we went to Sarmede to listen to some fun books and to see all the special artwork that comes from them!!

Our guide was really fun!! She made us laugh a lot and taught us many things!!

We heard 4 great stories!! It was such a special day!!

Good afternoon!!Today in reception we had Music with Miss Elena. We have started to practise for the Christmas recital. 

We are learning to play some instruments to really WOW you!!

Good afternoon!! This morning in Reception we worked on Maths with Miss Helen.

We had to count and color certain pictures in our notebook! 

Then after break she taught us a Christmas poem we will have to say during the recital!

We also went over all the English songs we will have to sing for you!! We can't wait to wow you with our voices and our moves!!

Good afternoon! Today in Reception we worked on some winter art with Miss Paola.

First she painted our hand and arm with brown paint, then we pressed them to the paper.

By doing this, we got the base for a tree! Now we have to wait until tomorrow to see what else we will do to finish the work!

We also had to draw a picture about a really nice story that Miss Paola read to us!

Good Afternoon! Today in Reception, we started the day with Weekend News with Miss Helen!

She asked each one of us what we did over the weekend and we had to share with the class and then draw a picture.

And today we were very lucky as we had two birthdays in Materna Inglese! Happy Birthday to Sebastiano and Elia and thank you for the yummy cakes!

Good afternoon!! We hope everyone enjoyed the Castagnata yesterday! We know we did! They were very yummy! Today in Reception we played some fun games with Miss Paola.

She said we were learning while doing it but it sure didn't seem like it! We played Telephone!

Where we have to pass a word around whispering in each others ears. Its funny to see how the word changes from one person to another.

We also played a game where we picked a card with an object on it and we had to describe it and our classmates had to guess what it was. Some were really easy and some were really hard!

It was a fun morning, but then we also had a practise firedrill!!! That was a little scary because we didn't know if there was really a fire or not! But Miss Paola and Miss Lindsay said we were all really good about getting into line and walking outside! We learned in the end that is was just a practise and that there was no fire!
