Good afternon! Today in Reception we worked with Miss Helen.

First she read a story to us about a monster with out spots.

Then we had to color and draw the spots in our workbook. It was hard but fun.

Oggi abbiamo costruito la marionetta di Mister Gufo!

Prima abbiamo colorato....

....poi abbiamo ritagliato.....

..... infine abbiamo incollato la sagoma sul sacchetto di carta.

Durante la merenda abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di Alessandra: grazie per la buonissima torta!

Good afternoon!Today in Reception we worked with Miss Helen on some decorations for the classroom.

We want to add a touch of Autumn to the room so we are making foxes.

We are using colored paper and paper plates to make the faces. Its a lot of work but fun!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Reception we had a lot of fun with Miss Paola!

We played Telephone!! It was so much fun!

We had to pass around a word while whispering into each others ears! The word never came back the same as it was given!! We laughed so hard everytime we heard the last person say what they thought the word was!!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Reception we started Letter Land with Miss Helen.

We were introduced to Anni Apple and all the things that begin with "A"! Then we had to practice writing the letter! It was fun to learn a letter in English!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Reception we had a special visitor! Miss Paola brought her pet turtle Muffin to show the class.

We talked about how turtles go into hibernation during autumn and winter!

We got to see the colors and talked about how they were in important to help the turtle hide from predators.

We learned what each of the parts of the turtle were called and about what they eat.

Then we had to draw a picture of Muffin.

Miss Paola let her visit with us so we could see her better.

Good afternoon!!! Today in Rception we started the day off with Music! We danced and sang with Miss Helen and Miss Paola! We are having so much fun learning all these new songs in English! Ask us and we can teach you the dances!!
